The San Diego Convention Center is the cornerstone of San Diego’s visitor industry, drawing thousands of out-of-town visitors to events held at the facility. With the start of spring, our facility is set to play host to the five largest events of the year. The money spent directly by convention attendees at our restaurants, hotels and attractions helps pay for our police and fire departments as well as our city’s streets and park maintenance.
We created this fun infographic to help tell the economic story of these five events and the impact they will have on our region between April and July 2014.
